For those of you who are still working, please read the following: We will continue working on a simplified version of The Great Gatsby Research Paper this week. The paper will not be a full five-paragraph essay like normal, but will still include a thesis statement and evidence to support topic sentences. This will be several minor grades that can improve your grade leading up to the final "paper". Please be aware that the research paper will replace the EOC for this course, so if you are looking for something to drastically improve your grade, the research paper is an opportunity to do so because it will count as 20% of your overall grade. This is a chance to improve your grade and gain the knowledge required for British Literature next year! If you choose not to do the research paper or if the grade lowers your overall grade, nothing will be put in for the EOC category. Happy Week Four of Digital Learning! There was an email sent to your parents this morning (from me) clarifying on some questions, but please be aware that we (teachers) are still receiving guidance and updates from administration every single day, so things can obviously change. At this point, you should be taking advantage of every opportunity to improve your grade. This is a situation like no other, and your grade at this point can only be improved. It's a great time to get ahead! If you have questions, email me or text me on Remind. I hope you all had a wonderful spring break. Miss you, Mrs. Workman Text:
